    Ok, so today is the big day. Actually it should have been thusday as I started on wednesday but to make things easier I shifted it all along by 3 days to a weekend.

    Day off has been spectacularly "cheaty" with bacon rolls and pizza making a big dent in the day. Crisps and popcorn featured rather heavily too! ;-) Tea with milk ( definitely prefer it still, the black coffee i am now enjoying ).

    But enough of the food bits, its the weigh-in that is important on a day like today.

    I have stuck religiously to the diet for the month as it suggested. You can only really judge wether these things work if you buy into them wholeheartedly. So that is what I have done. Only falling by the wayside on one occasion, but who can blame me for that, would you turn down free Laurent Perrier by the bottle? Didn't think so! ;-) Then, at the end of the month, wether it has worked or not, at least i can say its not for lack of trying.

    Weight loss was Insane in the first week and then levelled out to more manageable figures, leaving me with only 2Lb to lose this week to make the "20lb in the first month" estimate that the book had given me and which was a major factor on me starting down this road. Need to shed alot and fast.

    2lb down means I have hit the 20lb in one month. So, it has worked. Lets see how month 2 goes.

    Down in London today helping out at a conference. Quick slap up lazy breakfast as we had a 5:30 start and didn't really feel like eating so had baked beans with my eggs.

    Lunchtime tuna was great as I added a few extras like onion and perppers to make it a little different.

    5hour journey home due to the snow but warmed up with another veggie/bacon chilli when we got in.

    Weigh-in and off day tomorrow, still nervous. As long as I make up that last pound to add up to the 20Lb in a month as advertised. hoping for more but feel its been slow going this week.

    Friday, no going out, been out too many times since they year began, have a long drive with an early London start tomorrow. Have pre-cooked lunch to take down with me so hoping it will be a strict diet day even though I'm away from home.

    Cheated a little and turned my awesome vegeterian chilli in to a not so veggie option by adding a packet of chopped, grilled bacon! yum!

    Nothing new to report except that I am feeling a little nervous about the weigh-in for the first time. I feel like I have not done as well this week in terms of loss. Breaking the first rule of the book that says, choose betwen getting fit and losing weight, not both at the same time. I feel that I have been training a little too often and feel that I am possibly negating quite a lot of the effect I am trying to achieve in terms of constant blood sugar levels. Training hard obviously is causing the level to dip quite a lot, not ideal for this regime. We'll see! ;-)

    Ok, really struggling eating this "dinner' type foods for breakfast. The rst of the meals in the day are fine but this morning I let it get to me. Chucked all the seperate foods together in a bowl. Did not do any better and to top it all off it looked horrible. To spare your eyes from it I have replaced this mornings meal picture with a cute kitteh. Enjoy! ;-)

    Made a mistake this morning taking my garlic tablet with my ice cold water. God, what a mistake, had the bloody garlic repeating on me all morning.

    Lunchtime seems like my Achilles heel. Again with just protein. Gonna fuck up this whole process by messing with the lunch.

    Gym again, no messing, changed up all the exercises for each body part. Hurts.

    Missed 2 runs last week due to "drinking" commitments so started week 2 of the routine again. Messed with my end date but hopefully it will all work out ok.

    Really have to try and crack lunchtime meals this week.

    Swapped off-day to today as we were off to London for the day and I thought it would be easier to have it today as I didn't want to have to spend time messing around trying to find diet food. Also, how could we go down there and not enjoy some awesome food.

    Unfortunately @gabysslave & @chamonixdiva started to feel a little off colour saturday afternoon and continued to feel worse overnight. London was off for the day but not so my off-day. 

    Started the morning off with the Berocca and 500ml water with the usual Yakult. Had a late breakfast fry-up without the bread. Decided that I would stay off bread for the day, see how it affects my energy levels.

    A cup of tea with milk and a slice of Angel cake for midday treat. 

    Afternoon coffee with some Lemondrizzle cake, followed up with a few of @chamonixdiva's Parma Violets for good measure.

    Dinner of kievs and roast potatoes with some green beans. Have stashed 4 chocolate biccies to have with my last cuppa of the day. Not too bad an off-day, had quite a few goodies but didn't overdo it in a serious way.

    Oh yeah, scales finally came at the end of the week so weighed myself this morning. 108.2kg which means I have lost a total of 19 of your English Lb's. Result!

    Paying for the protein only day with an awesome ketosis headache. Reminds me of when I did my "meat only" radical diet a few years ago, suffered with terrible headaches for weeks.

    Had to get out real fast so gulped down 3 scrambled eggs(another protein only meal) before heading out to @chamonixdivas hockey match. 

    Had a lunch of beans only to make up for the protein heavy day and morning. Lets hope it restores the balance.

    My "fairy-chefmother" @lobelia made me a fantastic frittata for dinner. was a little large to do in one go so had half for dinner, will save the other for tomorrow.

    Forgot to take my breakfast tablets again. gonna have to get it tattooed on my hand at this rate so i can't forget.

    Misjudged the portion I made last night so think I was a little light on the beans size this morning. Protein heavy so need to rectify that at lunchtime.

    Lunchtime was a bust on two fronts, only had tuna and carrots so no beans. This now makes two meals light on the slow-carbs.

    Fridays Bank Cocktail turned into cocktails in terms of staying out. Was a great fun night but means I missed regular dinnertime. Was very good with the no alcohol though and had one glass of red wine & 7 glasses of water.

    Had chicken kievs at 12:00 which makes the thrid meal of the day protein only. Gonna pay for this tomorrow I am sure.
