Ok, so today is the big day. Actually it should have been thusday as I started on wednesday but to make things easier I shifted it all along by 3 days to a weekend.
Day off has been spectacularly "cheaty" with bacon rolls and pizza making a big dent in the day. Crisps and popcorn featured rather heavily too! ;-) Tea with milk ( definitely prefer it still, the black coffee i am now enjoying ).
But enough of the food bits, its the weigh-in that is important on a day like today.
I have stuck religiously to the diet for the month as it suggested. You can only really judge wether these things work if you buy into them wholeheartedly. So that is what I have done. Only falling by the wayside on one occasion, but who can blame me for that, would you turn down free Laurent Perrier by the bottle? Didn't think so! ;-) Then, at the end of the month, wether it has worked or not, at least i can say its not for lack of trying.
Weight loss was Insane in the first week and then levelled out to more manageable figures, leaving me with only 2Lb to lose this week to make the "20lb in the first month" estimate that the book had given me and which was a major factor on me starting down this road. Need to shed alot and fast.
2lb down means I have hit the 20lb in one month. So, it has worked. Lets see how month 2 goes.
